PHEK, MAY 1 (MExN): A free medical camp was held today at St Ignatius Parish Centre, Razeba under Phek District under the theme, ‘Go in peace and be freed from your suffering’ (Mark 5:34). The medical camp, which was organised by the Poumai Naga Catholic Me (PNCM) Senapati, Manipur saw the participation of 10 Doctors and 8 Nurses wherein free medicines were also provided.

In a short felicitation programme, Saul, President, PNCM introduced the doctors and the medical team. He also informed that the medicines which were brought for the camp was sponsored by several people including doctors who contributed the bulk of the medicines from their own pockets.

Bunyi Boni, Vice- President of St Ignatius Parish Council, Razeba delivered the welcome speech. While welcoming the team, he also expressed his joy in receiving the team and thanked them for their service to humanity.

Altogether, 478 patients from all the four villages under Razeba range registered and availed treatment. They also received free medication. The team of doctors and medical practitioners were led by Dr. Kh. Yule, Retd, Medical Superintendent DH Senapati.
