Kohima, October 22 (MExN): An activity to empower women and girls through training in employable skills, FPA India, Nagaland Branch, organised two-day crochet dolls making training with Kaini Rhetso Staff Nurse, RHFPC as the resource person at Muskan Youth Centre Kohima on October 21 and 22.

“The purpose of this activity is to train women and girls in multiple employable skills and strengthen their income generating skills,” said Ville Rhetso, Counsellor, FPA India Nagaland Branch in a press release. In the process of the training, a short session was held to empower the trainees with the knowledge of sexual reproductive health and rights including menstrual hygiene management. 

Various types of training will be conducted till December 2020 with minimal participants for each batch maintaining the COVID19 SOP formulated by the Government.
