Zunheboto, July 27 (MExN): Green Club Zunheboto (GCZ) through its project ‘Humanity First’ initiated a crowdfunding for the Alahuto landslide affected families. GCZ President, Tavinto K Sumi in a press release stated that “the crowdfunding was responded positively by the people within the State and outside as well and through its three days crowdfunding, and pray for Alahuto concert was able to collect Rs 230943.”
The funds were distributed to the 12 affected families in the presence of the newly elected Colony Councilor Vikheshe Aye, Alahuto Council, Ward Disaster management Authority Alahuto and GB's.
“Though the crowdfunding was started by the club, without the support from the generous donors it would not have been possible and that the credit goes to all the generous donors for making the project a huge success,” Sumi stated.
