As part of Gethemgo Sports International's FIFA World Cup Outreach initiative, a football outreach was held today at Forest Colony Kohima. 78 children participated in an afternoon of football, fun, and inspiration.
Each child received a J316 Gospel Football, and heard The Greatest Story Ever Told—the message of God's love through Jesus Christ.
The initiative seeks to inspire children to embrace positive values, build strong character, and live disciplined and purposeful lives.
Dr Viposa Kiso, Director of Gethemgo Sports International, said, “We believe that placing a football in the hands of every child is an investment in the future of our nation. It inspires children to dream, play, and grow while laying a strong foundation for grassroots football development. Through every football we give, we hope to shape character, strengthen communities, and share the greatest story ever told.”
The outreach is part of Gethemgo Sports International's vision to reach 5,000 children during this FIFA World Cup year, believing that every child reached through football is another step toward building a stronger football culture and a generation grounded in hope, character, and faith.
Meanwhile, Gethemgo Sports International expressed sincere gratitude to the Forest Colony Youth for mobilizing the children and making the playground available for the event. The organization also thanked the families and well-wishers who generously provided refreshments, whose support made the outreach a meaningful success.
