Dimapur, March 28 (MExN): Nagaland Governor RN Ravi on Sunday extended Holi greetings to the people of the State.
“Holi festival with its vibrant colours accentuates positivity and the triumph of good over evil. Let us keep in mind the fundamental purpose of the Holi festival which is to unite the people together forgetting all differences, and to have love and respect for one another,” the Governor wrote.
Meanwhile, in a separate message, State Chief Minister Neiphiu also conveyed Holi greetings and hoped that the festival of colours would bring joy and goodwill among all sections of people and that we would be always victorious over evil.
Both the Governor and the CM urged everyone to celebrate the festival responsibly by observing COVID-19 protocols.
Meanwhile, the National People’s Party (NPP) also wished everyone a safe and happy Holi.
“In your celebration of the vibrant festival of colours as a mark of victory of good over evil, may your lives also be filled with colours of prosperity and boundless success,” NPP President stated in a press release on Sunday.
