Kohima, March 31 (MExN): Nagaland Governor RN Ravi has extended warm Kundaglün greetings to the Chang community and the people of Nagaland.
Kundanglün literally means festival commemorating the completion of field's hut. Prayers are made for a bountiful harvest and a significant part of the festival is that the celebrations provide a platform for the youth of the community to get acquainted with the spiritual and cultural richness of the Changs, the Governor stated in his message.
He further urged all to celebrate the beautiful festival observing all COVID-19 protocols and wished everyone peace and prosperity.
In a separate statement, Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton greeted the Chang, Konyak and Phom communities during their spring festivals of Kundaglün, Aoleang and Phom Monyu respectively.
Patton said that these festivals marking the beginning of a new season would enrich the lives of each and everyone abundantly and extended warm greetings on behalf of the state BJP legislatures.
