Govt Polytechnic Seithekema observes ‘India at 75’

Dimapur, March 15 (MExN): The Government Polytechnic Seithekema C, Dimapur commemorated the 75 years of India’s Freedom ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ on March 12. 

The speaker, Dr Nonlih Chohwanglim speaking on the topic “India’s freedom struggle” portrayed the life of the lesser-known freedom-fighters, whose effort and sacrifices can never be tagged as lesser in any aspects. 

During the programme, Er Zhapulhoulie Rupreo, Principal, GPSD shared on the significance of the commemoration. The concluding note was delivered by Imnasangba Jamir, Sr lecturer. 

An essay competition on the topic ‘India at 75’ was organized for the students where Lemlila Y Thonger of 4th semester was declared the winner, while Changkap Konyak of 2nd semester bagged the second position followed by Longpang Chang of 4th semester in the third position.
