DIMAPUR, APRIL 30 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has clarified that one Shepu Zhimo, who was apprehended by the 5 Assam Rifles, “does not belong to the GPRN/NSCN.” A press note from the MIP informed that “he is a civilian and was never a part of the GPRN/NSCN.” It urged security personnel and law enforcing agencies to “thoroughly investigate the background of any person apprehended before slapping them with the tag of GPRN/NSCN.” It cautioned that stern disciplinary action will be taken against any person or group “impersonating as GPRN/NSCN members and involving in anti-social activities.”
