Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has expressed its grief over the untimely demise of Aghovi Chophy, Tatar of Luzheto village, Union Territory Region on February 13 after a prolonged illness.
Late Chophy enrolled and joined the national service in the year 1989 and served the nation for full 31 years with full commitment and compassion as a true national worker in various capacities till his last breath, a condolence note from MIP, GPRN/NSCN stated.
“In his demise the nation have loss one of the most dedicated and promising patriot… (his) persistent dedication for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished and treasured in the pages of Naga history,” it added.
The GPRN/NSCN also conveyed it deepest sorrow and sympathies to the bereaved family members and prayed the Almighty comfort them and wished the departed soul a rest in eternal peace.
