GPRN/NSCN flays ‘cowardly acts perpetrated by the Khaplang boys’

DIMAPUR, MARCH 16 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has termed the recent killing of its cadres as “cowardly acts perpetrated by the Khaplang boys cosseting with an ideology which seems to converge with an anti-peace and anti-people propaganda and mercilessly murdering in and around Mon district under the shadow of the CFSB office” and pointing out that this has reached its “peak of insanity”.

The GPRN/NSCN in a press note issued by the MIP Khehoi Designated Camp has informed “K-boys that our remaining quiet and observing the happenings while restraining ourselves does not mean that we are weak or helpless”. “It is because, we are abiding by the wishes of the masses who have been crying for peace and cessation of killings and bloodshed”, the MIP note stated.

But henceforth, it cautioned that if any provocation is shown in any manner and this kind of attitude continues to persist, the GPRN/NSCN will leave no stone unturned. It stated that the recent killing of three of our cadres, Lieut. Pawang hailing from TOTOK village, Lieut. Wangkem, from Chui village and corporal Manshong from Chui-Coching village at phomching on 14th March 2012 needs to be condemned by every right thinking peace loving citizen.

“At this, juncture the desire of the people is to have peace and is praying for cessation of complete hostilities among the Nagas. However, against the desire of the people the K-boys are illegally operating office on the pretext of CFSB at MON TOWN, and indulging in extortion, kidnapping and mercilessly murdering. Therefore the general public of Mon town is urged to immediately close down the illegal and unauthorised office of K-gangster to avoid further killings so as to prevail peace”, the MIP press note stated.

The GPRN/NSCN mourned for its cadres brutally murdered during their call of duty and extended their sorrow to the bereaved families. “We pray that the Almighty God bless them and give them solace in their time of grief”.
