Dimapur, June 2 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has mourned the demise of Somiron Mech (Leacy) of Khusiabil village, Union Territory Region, who passed away on June 1.
According to a condolence message from the GPRN/NSCN MIP, Late Somiron Mech joined the Naga national service in 2011 and last served as a capable care-taker of Kachari Affairs, GPRN/NSCN. “He was a man fully dedicated and committed towards building better relationship and cohesiveness amongst the various communities, in the quest for fulfillment of the Naga national cause,” the message read. His contributions and service in various capacities towards the Naga nation shall ever be cherished and recorded in the pages of the Naga history, it said, while conveying condolences to the bereaved family members.
