DIMAPUR, MARCH 18 (MExN): Following the call made by the Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) for a statewide Prayer Day on March 20 from 06:00 am to 12:00 noon, the GPRN/NSCN and the NSCN (IM) UT informed that they would be observing the same.
A press release from the MIP of the GPRN/NSCN informed that a National Prayer and Fasting program will be convened at Council Headquarter (CHQ), Khehoi Designated camp on the said date as per the time scheduled.
It asked all members to attend the said program without fail. It further informed all the regional authorities and head of Designated Camps to conduct and observe the day in the same manner as is proposed.
Meanwhile, the NSCN (IM) UT also informed that it will observe the prayer and fasting called on by the NJCF on March 20 from 6:00am to 12 noon at Diphupar ‘A’ Village Council Hall.
A press release from the UT Secretary, John M Yim informed all commercial establishments apart from medical and educational establishments in Dimapur to “show solidarity by keeping their stores closed up to 12:00 pm on March 20.”
It further asked all national workers of the UT to attend the programme positively.
