DIMAPUR, September 3 (MExN): The Commander Dimapur Town Command, Naga Army GPRN/NSCN Lt. Col. Hotoi Aye has stated that there had been numerous reports from residents near 4th Mile Agri Expo grounds that many young people frequent the grounds and stay on late into the night. Many cars and SUVs with female companions driving towards agri expo grounds are seen regularly, informed the press note issued through the MIP. Quarrels and brawls under the influence of alcohol have become a common sight in the area, it stated while adding that this had undoubtedly become a spot for young people to indulge in immoral activities. “If not checked immediately, such indulgences will only degenerate the moral fabric of the Nagas”, it stated. Henceforth, GPRN/NSCN through its town Command shall monitor the area. Anyone found drinking or partying inside the agri expo ground after 6:00 P.M shall be arrested on the spot, the press note stated. Appropriate punishment shall be awarded. Vehicles and other properties shall also be seized, it has cautioned.
