
The Phom Baptist Christian Association (PBCA), Longleng would like to extend its gratitude to DIG, Assam Rifles, Nagaland Range (North) for its initiations to sponsor the orphan children at Phom Lempong Hostel, Longleng. The PBCA is highly indebted to the following companies, CO-30 AR, CO-20 AR, CO-12 AR, and CO-27 AR. They have taken the enormous task to sponsor the following orphan children whose parents expired and whose future looks dark and gloomy without any hope as there is none to support them. They are the ones who need such kinds of good gesture and sympathy. Following are the orphan children : (1) L.Mono Gogoi S/o Lt. Lalit Gogoi (2)L.Chingyung Phom S/o Lt.Langshuh, Aoching Village (3) B.Kupling Phom S/o Lt. Baulong, Shemnyuching Village and (4) P. Phang-e Phom S/o Lt. Phunglang, Yongnyah Village.
The DIG has also assured to construct girls hostel at Lempong Hostel at the cost of Rs.12 lacs and he also sanctioned Rs.2 lacs for the Hostel Children Excursion Tour. Since their posting in Longleng Town, the 30 Assam Rifles has taken various steps of initiatives such as organizing Seminars, Quiz Competitions, Cultural Competitions, construction of public ground, school ground and college ground and road communication etc for the welfare and upliftment of Phom people.
The general public extends our profound gratitude to the DIG, CO’s and Major Rathur for the love and concern you have extended to us and this good gesture will always be cherished. These kinds of initiatives they have undertaken for the welfare of the Phom people is the first of its kind in Longleng Town. May the Almighty God bless them all abundantly.
