The daily market and the adjacent Assam Rifles Transit camp at Purana Bazaar, Dimapur was rocked by an unexplained explosion in the wee hours, Saturday. According to the Dimapur police, there was a grenade blast near the perimeter wall of the AR camp at around 5:00 am. The police also recovered a second unexploded grenade, suspected to be China-make, at the blast site. Motive was unknown with the police stating that investigation was on.
