Kohima, January 18 (DIPR): In pursuance of the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India for conduct of Socio Economic and Caste Census 2011, Grievance Cells-cum-Control Rooms at the State, District and Charge levels are set up in order to redress the grievances/complaints that are received from the public and stake holders on various issues.
At the State Level, a Grievance Cell is established in the office of the Additional Chief Secretary & Commissioner and State Nodal officer, SECC 2011, comprising of the following members: Thungdeno Mozhui, Joint Director, Rural Development Department (i/c)-Mobile 8974453009; A. Zanbemo Ngullie, Joint Director, Urban Development Department-Mobile 8729877117; Tamong, Junior Consultant, Directorate of Census-Mobile 9856854953.
Any other members may be co-opted. A Control Room with telephone No. 0370-2290467 is set up in the office of the Commissioner. The control room will also be manned by the National Trainers.
Grievance Cells-Cum- Control Rooms are to be opened in the offices of the Principal SECC-201l Officers, (PSOs)/Deputy Commissioners who are designated as District Level Grievance Redressal Officers of respective Districts to attend to all grievances/complaints on issues pertaining to the SECC 2011.
Charge Officers are designated as Charge Level Grievance Redressal Officers of respective Charges to attend to grievances/complaints on issues pertaining to the SECC 2011.
All Grievances Cells-cum-Control Rooms shall maintain a proper register detailing the complaints received and action taken. Registers may be checked by the senior officers from time to time. A time frame of 5 days may be fixed for attending to complaints and giving a reply to the complainant.
