A two-day handicrafts marketing workshop organized by office of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) GoI: Ministry of Textiles; Handicrafts Service Centre, Kohima was held at Hotel Grandeur on February 17 and 18. It was inaugurated by K Hokishe Assumi, Director, Industries and Commerce, in the presence of Zakabo Rotokha, Managing Director, Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd. The resource persons were T Yanger Sor, State Awardee, Vilekhoto Pusa, Empanelled Designer, with officials of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) HSC, Kohima and Lipongse, Deputy Director, Industries & Commerce, Lenla Jamir, Senior Manager, LIC-Kohima, Dr Mayonmi Shimray, Regional Director In-charge, IGNOU-Kohima with official of Development Commissioner. Altogether, 93 handicrafts artisans participated in the workshop.
