The Department of Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima was temporarily sealed on Sunday after detection of COVID-19 cases.
The Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, through a notification, dated October 4, directed the sealing of the H&FW Department, Secretariat for 48 hours “in view of the detection of COVID-19 persons.”
It advised the public to follow the personal safety measures at all times, while maintaining social/physical distancing “to ensure public hygiene and personal safety within the proximity of the sealed area.”
The notification did not specify when and how many cases were detected. But official sources disclosed that 3-4 officials of the department tested positive.
