Satakha, May 14 (NEPS): Nagaland Minister for Agriculture and Cooperation, G Kaito Aye said their education should be able to catch up with the fast changing global scenario.
Speaking as special guest here at the golden jubilee celebration of the Highland High School Satakha on May 14, the Minister said the modernization had brought evolution of the education system in their State. He further stated the goal of new the education system should be to “create entrepreneurs, innovators, artists, scientists, thinkers, and writers who can establish based economy rather than low-quality service provider.”
Stating that the Highland High School was the first Private School established 50 years ago in Satakha, the Minister recalled how it had transformed over the years.
Urging the teaching faculty and the students to continue to build a close relationship to produce the best education so that they would be able to face the challenges and achieve their goals. “Many graduates and post-graduates, scholars, prominent publics leaders studied in this school,” he added.
He said the management and the teaching faculty to have their vision beyond the golden jubilee and make the Institution the center of excellence. The Minister also released the School Souvenir.
Rev. Dr. Kavito Jimomi, Principal TTC & President, Serampore University, India, delivered speech on behalf of Alumni. Traditional folk dances, special song by school choir led by Yeshika Assumi, Music Director, STBC, mob dance were among others highlights of the function.
