Office bearers and members of the Hardware Merchants Association Dimapur at its general meeting held on Sunday afternoon at Lions Club Dimapur.
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 8 (MExN): A general meeting of Hardware Merchants Association Dimapur (HMAD) was held on Sunday in the premises of Lions Club, Dimapur.
The meeting attended by all hardware merchants of Dimapur highlighted various issues confronting the association and officially inducted two office bearers and seven executive members against the posts which were laying vacant.
Addressing the meeting, K. Denis Sema highlighted the endeavour of the association and how it is committed towards the welfare of not only the association members but for the mass at large and urged the members for cooperation in taking the community forward.
Others who spoke at the meeting include Vice President Robin Sema, General Secretary Mahesh Agarwal, Executive Member Kevi Angami.
The meeting resolved and urged all concerned organisations not to enforce unnecessary donations and taxes on the trading community. It has also resolved to invite all cement companies in order to discuss the fixation of cement rates.
