Dimapur, October 7 (MExN): Holy Redeemer Health Centre (HRHC), Chümoukedima launched a new ambulance service on the feast day of Holy Rosary on October 7. The new ambulance is partially sponsored from the Chief Ministers Relief Fund.
Most Rev Dr James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima, blessed and flagged off the service.
Sr Rita Miasalhou, Administrator, HRHC stated that the Centre has been rendering yeomen service during the COVID-19 pandemic, by taking care of the medical needs at four quarantined centres in Dimapur. They were offering transportation service to the people who arrived in Dimapur airport and railway station from other states to Agri Expo and then to quarantine centres with their existing old ambulance.
She expressed hope that with the new ambulance, HRHC will be able to offer better service for people in need and enhance their medical service at the Centre.
