Kisama, December 5 (MExN): The fifth day of the 22nd Hornbill festival was graced by Chief Justice, Gauhati High Court, Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia as the guest of honour and Chief General Manager, Indian Oil Corporation Lt, Noonmati, Guwahati, KV Ramanamurthy as the special guest. It was hosted by the Advisor of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Dr Neikiesalie Nicky Kire, stated a DIPR report.
During the cultural event, the following cultural troupes presented traditional dances and folk songs: Pochury, Rengma, Kachari, Garo, Lotha, Ao, Kuki, Zeliang and Rengma.
The guest of honour and special guest in the afternoon cultural show was Secretary, Ministry of MSME, GoI, BB Swain and Director General (INV) Income Tax west Bengal, Sikkim and NER, Suresh Kumar, IRS. Advisor Power, Tovihoto Ayemi was the host and he was accompanied by Advisor for Tourism, Art and Culture, Khehovi Yepthomi.
