The Hornbill Night Carnival under the aegis of Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) as part of 25th Hornbill Festival 2024 from ‘Y’ Junction to Razhii Point, main town Kohima, concluded today.

An average 2000 to 3000 revellers visited this Night Carnival daily from December 1 till today, which included one day extension.
Marking the closing day, the KCCI presented best decorated building award to Aurora (Restaurant & Lodging), best innovative stall to Dziilievi-u Zatsu (The Angami Stall) and most promising stall award to Rengma Stall.

The award was handed over by KCCI president Kezhazer Angami, KCCI advisor Metekhrielie Mejura and Hornbill Night Carnival management committee convenor Ruokuobeizo Kire.

The Carnival witnessed around 176 stalls.

A prime attraction for the revellers this year has been the Hornbill Carnival Parade on the 7th day conducted by Kohima Village Youth Organisation in collaboration with Tourism Department and KCCI.
