Peren, November 18 (MExN): In view of the detection of COVID-19 positive patient and in order to take preventive measures to contain the spread of infection, Peren Additional Deputy Commissioner Moa Sangtam has notified the sealing of a house at Nsetning ward under Peren Town with effect from November 17, till further orders.
The public has been advised to follow all safety precautions, especially within the proximity of the sealed area.
Meanwhile in Dimapur, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Soundararajan ordered the sealing of an apartment located at Fellowship Colony with immediate effect till further orders.
Any persons violating the containment measures in both locations will be liable to be prosecuted as per the provisions of section 51-60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 besides legal action under Section-188 of the Indian Penal Code.
