Wokha, December 17 (MExN): The Humtso Students's Union (HSU) and Wokha Circle Students' Union (WCSU) on Thursday condemned the alleged attempt to murder on Chumthungo Shitri by unidentified gunmen. The Unions stated that the incident occurred on December 12 at around 6:30 pm, when the gunmen fired at the victim’s residence without any reason. Condemning the ‘act of cowardice’ on a student leader, the Unions further appealed the law enforcing and investigating agencies to thoroughly investigate the case with utmost seriousness and initiate disciplinary action against the perpetrators.
