Students and guests attend the awareness talk on ‘Law in India’ organized by ICFAI University Nagaland on September 8.
Dimapur, September 8 (MExN): The ICFAI University Nagaland organised an awareness talk on “Law in India” at its campus on September 8, focusing on legal awareness, citizens’ rights and legal procedures. The programme was organised by the Departments of Political Science and Management Studies in collaboration with the university’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
Souriya Das, Advocate of the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts of India, addressed the session. Kahuto Chishi, social activist, public commentator and Head GB of Hevishe Village in Niuland district, was the special guest. The session sought to promote a better understanding of the legal system and empower participants with awareness of their rights and the procedures available to citizens.
