KOHIMA, APRIL 15 (MExN): The Multi Purpose Hall B and Main Stadium within the Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex and DUDA Guest House, Kohima have been declared as containment zones in view of detection of COVID-19 positive cases.
An order from the Kohima DC directed that there shall be no entry or exit within the containment zone to map local transmission of the disease and stop the spread of the contagion. The order stated that residents within the containment zone will be regularly monitored by the medical team over phone or otherwise till they recover and test negative for the infection. It informed that the zone is mapped and cordoned off and the public have been advised to wear masks at all times, frequently wash hands and maintain social/physical distance. Those failing to comply with the guidelines will be penalized, the order cautioned.
