Illegal IMLF worth Rs 1.25 lakh seized in Dimapur

Dimapur, September 9 (MExN): As part of the ongoing crackdown to prevent illegal activities in Nagaland, Security forces seized IMFL in general area Dhobinala, Dimapur on September 7.

According to a press release from the PRO, HQ IGAR (N), based on specific intelligence regarding illegal activities in general area Dhobinala, Dimapur, security forces along with Police representative launched an operation and apprehended Tarun Rai (34 years) and Surjeet Debbarman (20 years) both residents of  Dhobinala, Dimapur.

“Recoveries included 22 cases of IMFL amounting approximately Rs 1.25 lakh, in addition to Rs 17,110 in cash,” the PRO informed.  

The apprehended individuals along with recovered items were handed over to West Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.
