Phek, April 23 (MExN): Destruction of seized IMFL and other contraband items was carried out under the supervision of Public Prosecutor, Phek and in the presence of the authorized officers including EAC, Judicial District Administration, SDPO Phek, DB, Office of Deputy Commissioner, UBSI, PI Court Phek and ASI, Phek Police Station on April 22.
It was carried out as per direction received from the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class Phek on April 19, a press release from Samuel Ritse, Government Pleader Cum Public Prosecutor informed on Friday.
138 cases of MC Rum, 10 cases of canned beer, 4 cases of OC Blue, 4 cases of Whisky and a large consignment of tobacco products were reportedly destroyed on Friday.
