Immanuel College, Dimapur celebrated its graduation ceremony for the class of 2025.

Dimapur, August 22 (MExN): Immanuel College, Dimapur celebrated its graduation ceremony for the class of 2025 at the college auditorium, with former state director of Land and Resources, Hoto Yeptho, delivering the commencement address.
In his speech, Yeptho outlined two guiding principles for the graduates: to know God and to work hard to fulfill His purpose. He described life as a challenge, but assured that God will help those who seek Him and work hard and believe in themselves.
Stating that graduates stood at a crucial juncture between the exit of one chapter and the entry of another, Yeptho emphasised that while knowledge and degrees may open doors, it is “integrity, honesty and humility that protect the chair.”
He urged students to be known for these enduring qualities and to lead a God-fearing life in all their endeavours. To reinforce his point, he recounted a metaphorical example from a poster seen in Dimapur, ‘Own the King, and the Kingdom is yours.’
During the event, Yeptho also felicitated Benda, the topper of the Botany Department from Nagaland University, with a certificate and a cash award.
The ceremony was chaired by Dr Sophiya Ezung. It began with an invocation by Temjen Longkumer, Assistant Professor in Department of Education.
College Principal Dr Th Sharatchandra Singh delivered the welcome address. The introduction of the commencement speaker and felicitation of the teachers was conducted by Dr A Loso Chalai, Chairman of the college’s Governing Body.
The programme featured a special number by E Esther, a speech on behalf of the teachers by Dr S Temsusenla Ai, Head of Department of Economics, and graduation addresses by students Benda and Imsuren Imchen, followed by the presentation of graduation certificates.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks from Langtopongmri, Assistant Professor in Department of Education, and a benediction by Tiguangthuanliu Gangmei, Assistant Professor in Department of Political Science.
