Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): The Immanuel College Dimapur organised a spiritual awakening crusade under the theme, "Prepare to meet your God" on November 16 with Rev Azahto Kiba, Pastor New Life Church,Kohima as the speaker.
A press release informed that in the first session, Rev Kiba talked about God's purpose in the creation of every individual and stated that “God uses us not because we are skilled, or because of our physical appearance but because He Himself is love, gracious and merciful.”
Earlier, the introduction and welcome address was delivered by Dr A Loso Chalai, Chairman Governing Body Immanuel College, while special song was presented by members of the college’s Evangelical Union. The first session also featured testimony by Eji Manchu, BA 5th semester.
In the second session, Rev Kiba emphasised on “God's love for human and how He came not for the righteous but for the sinners and the only thing we need to do is to repent and receive salvation.”
The speaker added that God wants to do great and mighty things and stressed on the willingness of an individual to change, to let God take control or everything and to identify oneself as the child of God and not of the world.
The second session also featured a choreography was presented by Immanuel College Hostellers and testimony was by Pangtok, a BA 5th semester student.
