Dimapur, April 9 (MExN): One day national seminar on ‘a comprehensive study on new emergence and exploration of ethnobotany in North-East India’ was held at the college conference hall on April 9. It organised by Department of Botany in collaboration with the IQAC, Immanuel College under the sponsorship of the BSI (Botanical Survey of India).

The seminar had two technical sessions comprising of five paper presenters and was chaired by Dr. Tarun Kumar Jana Principal Mount Mary College, Chümoukedima with Dr Parimal Chandra Bhomick, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Immanuel College as the rapporteur.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr N Premkumar Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, Patkai Christian College. The seminar was moderated by N Elone Coordinator IQAC, Immanuel College. Welcome note was delivered by Th Sharatchandra Singh Principal,Immanuel College
