Naga musician Imnainla Jamir has achieved a major milestone in her musical journey by becoming an official endorsee of the globally renowned guitar brand Ibanez, making her the first female Ibanez Guitar endorsee from India.
Widely respected for its innovation and craftsmanship, Ibanez guitars are used by some of the world’s most celebrated musicians.
Imnainla’s inclusion in the brand’s national and international roster reflects recognition of her talent, musicality and growing influence as a guitarist and performer, according to Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), Nagaland.
Imnainla has built a reputation for her distinctive playing style, strong stage presence and dedication to her craft.
As an Ibanez endorsee, she will represent the brand and perform using Ibanez guitars, joining a global community of musicians associated with the iconic label.
Expressing her gratitude, Imnainla thanked Hoshino Gakki (Ibanez Japan) and Music Distribution Company (Mumbai), for making the endorsement possible and providing her with a global platform.
She also acknowledged the continued support of her family, well-wishers and the Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) Government of Nagaland, which has supported her musical journey over the years.
“It is truly an honour to be part of the Ibanez family. I hope this journey inspires more young musicians from our region and beyond to pursue their passion,” Imnainla said.
The endorsement marks an important milestone not only in Imnainla Jamir’s career but also for India’s music community, highlighting the growing presence of Indian musicians on the global stage.
