
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 5 (MExN): The Watsu Mungdang (Apex Ao women organization) has extended its full support to the demand of the Action Committee of All Naga Women Organizations i.e. N.M.A. Watsu Mungdang, Naga Women Hoho, Dimapur and E.N.W.O to immediately implement the women Reservation Bill as submitted to the Government of Nagaland on 1st June 1, 2011, due to the failure of which a case has been instituted in the Gauhati High Court, Kohima. This was stated in a press note issued by Dr Imlirenla Walling, President and Moala Imsong General Secretary respectively of the Watsu Mungdang.
It stated that reservation was the constitutional rights of the women and that violation of which is the violation of Human Rights. The Watsu Mungdang therefore urged the Government of Nagaland to implement the law of the land and hold Municipal and town council elections immediately.
