Jakhama gets its ‘first-ever’ fitness centre

Jakhama, September  26 (MExN): The ‘first physical fitness centre’ in Jakhama Block named “Zao’s Gym & Fitness Centre” officially opened on September 25. The centre is situated at Zhodi colony, NH-29, Below St. Joseph’s College (SJC) Autonomous, Jakhama.

The pastor of Jakhama Christian Revival Church Johan Zao prayed and dedicated the centre to God Almighty so that whoever became its member would not only received physical fitness but also receive pure heart, informed a press from its proprietor, Vikukhol Zao.

The centre is opened for admission on two shifts: 5-7.30 AM in the morning and 3-9 PM in the evening, it said, adding that special slot is to be given to women on morning session.  The proprietor Zao had earned Sports Management and is certified basketball coach from the Laxmibai National University of Physical Education, Gwalior, Mahya Pradesh. He is currently teaching at SJC, Jakhama, the release said. 

Adolie Kire, the trainer and in-charge of the Centre, is also a certified Management/Trainer from same university, it added. 

Gracing the opening, a social activist Kezhokhoto Savi while noting that ‘health is wealth’ said that physical activity can improve one’s health and reduce the risk of developing several diseases. Regular physical activity can improve one’s quality of life and improve one’s quality sleep and even manage lower blood pressure and improve heart health, he added.
