Japanese culture comes alive at NN Nagi School

Dimapur, September 16 (MExN): NN Nagi School at Kuda Village (Nagarjan), Dimapur organized a Japanese cultural programme at the school premises on September 14.  

Kiyomi Takano as the special guest on the cultural programme gave a presentation on Japanese culture, Origami and Japanese cultural dance to the students. Kiyomi is also a student at Para La Paz in Costa Rica doing her Masters in Peace Education and currently working on her Thesis on “Formal Education for Cultural Identity and Cosmopolitans in Dimapur stated a press release received here.  

Established in 2015, the NN Nagi School uses the Accelerated Christian Education learning system (also known as ‘School of Tomorrow’) which provides personalized and individual attention in a non-graded English language system.  

The school is managed by Pvt. Unaided, it offers education to individuals for different level of standard, such as Pre-school, Nursery, Kindergarten and Primary levels, provides the avenues to a child for socialization, self-identification and self assessment besides Art, Music and Extracurricular.  

Each student works at his own ability level according to the results of the diagnostic tests taken before enrollment which, indicate the child’s achievement level. In this system, the responsibility for learning is placed on the child, and is supported jointly by the parents and the School and the curriculum recognizes each child’s unique learning style with God- given abilities and talents.
