Dimapur, April 20 (MExN): The JCPI today reminded the President and General Secretary of each Naga tribal apex bodies of a consultative meeting schedule on April 23 and urged them to attend the same positively.
A letter regarding the meeting was sent out on April 9, informed a press release from the Joint Committee for Prevention of Illegal Immigrants. (JCPI).
The meeting has been called to deliberate on critical issues relating to Inner Line Permit/Register of Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland and also issues in the light of the recent Government of Nagaland sponsored consultative meeting with apex tribe hohos of Nagaland. It said.
For the greater convenience and larger participation of all the leaders, the meeting has been convened at Hotel Japfu, Kohima and will commence from 1 pm on April 23, it added.
