Joint Forum adopts resolutions

DIMAPUR, DEC 20 (MExN): The Joint Forum comprising of Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association Wokha Unit, Wokha District Voluntary Consumer Association (WDVCA), Wokha District Pensioners Association (WDPA), Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) Eloe Hoho  and State Bank of India, Wokha Branch has adopted resolutions on December 17. 

The resolutions resolved are:

1. The SBI Wokha Branch would issue various loan forms only to genuine and eligible applicants after proper verification by the Controlling Officer for the regular state government employees and the pensioners through WDPA office bearers.

2. To co-operate and extend full support to the SBI Wokha Branch in checking unauthorized elements who are acting as brokers and that complaint would be submitted to the Joint Forum in written for initiating appropriate action. 

3. To intimate the concerned higher authority of SBI to allot more budgets to clear all backlogs (Loans) as per the MOU within 15 days from the date of the meeting, i.e. December 17, 2005.

4. The Joint Forum reiterate that the demands of the CANSSEA Wokha Unit and WDVCA (a) Immediate deployment of a uniformed bank personnel to act as Kisan Mitra, (b) Immediate installation of ATM facility at SBI, Wokha and (c) Upgradation of the post of BM to AGM and opening of another branch at Wokha Town on the basis of the volume of transaction of business be fulfilled without further delay.
