
DIMAPUR, MAY 25 (MExN): Minister for Agriculture and Cooperation, G Kaito Aye today expressed sadness at the demise of Tokhuvi Tuccu, 2nd I/C (Retd), 111 BSF, Satakha in Dimapur on May 25.
A press release from the Minister stated that late Tuccu was “a remarkable gentleman, a tall leader who dedicated his life to serving the Naga people.” “He was a man of words, dependable and trustworthy, a person of integrity. In his demise, the Naga and the Sumi community in particular has lost a great mind and a brilliant guide and the void created will be impossible to fill,” the Minister added.
He said that late Tuccu was “a father figure and my political guru, the backbone of my career, a man who stood by me through thick and thin.” “I am very grateful to him for what I am today. His life well lived will be celebrated and the memories he has left behind will be forever cherished,” he added.
The Minister also conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.
