KANU new office bearers and Advisors during the launching programme at public ground, Borlengri Karbi Anglong Assam on March 9.
Karbi Anglong, March 11 (MExN): The Karbi Anglong Naga Union (KANU) launching cum general public meeting was held at public ground, Borlengri Karbi Anglong, Assam on March 9. The programme was presided over by KANU Vice President, Lichumse Sangtam with invocation by K Mahjih, Pastor, Yimkhiung Baptist Church, Borlengri Karbi Anglong Assam. Presidential address was delivered by Anilo Rengma while Mhao Odyuo, Spokesperson KANU, highlighted the formation of KANU.
The union Advisor, H Thong introduced the newly selected office bearers and the office bearers were blessed with prayer by Rev Dr Bendang, Pastor, Union Baptist Church Karbi Anglong Assam.
The Secretary General report was presented by K Tsongs Naga and vote of thanks was proposed by Holuto Awomi, Secretary Cultural, KANU. The meeting ended with benediction by Rev Lumtsu Ezung, Executive Secretary, Nagamese Baptist Church Association Nagaland.
