Kohima, August 9 (MExN): The Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) unveiled its Golden Jubilee logo at the KCCI Office, Kohima, on August 7.

Medozhatuo Rutsa, Convenor of the Golden Jubilee Organising Committee, unveiled the logo before members of the Chamber, office bearers and invitees.

CCI President Ruokuoneilie Kesiezie chaired the programme while and Visato Yhoshü, Pastor, UBC, invoked God's blessings.

In his opening remarks, the President said the logo carries the years 1976–2026 beneath the Chamber's emblem. A golden ring encircles the emblem, symbolising wealth and eternity, while golden leaves flanking it signify victory and achievement. Read together, he said, the elements record what KCCI has built over five decades of service to the business community of the state capital.

He said the logo was designed by KCCI’s Vithuse Temi, Secretary Sanitation. “This logo belongs to every member who kept the Chamber standing for fifty years. It marks where we have come from and commits us to the traders and entrepreneurs who will carry Kohima’s economy into the next fifty”, he said.

Grace Swu, General Secretary, KCCI stated that the KCCI, formed in 1976, is the apex body of the business community in Kohima.

It represents traders, retailers and enterprises across the state capital and takes up their concerns with the state government, the Kohima Municipal Council and other authorities.
