Kohima, March 11 (MExN): The Kohima Chakhesang Hoho expressed shock at the demise of Lt. Lechutso Lasuh on March 8 last. Lechutso Lasuh served as the president of Kohima Chakhesang Hoho will the time of death. He was one of the pioneering Chakhesangs who settled down early in Kohima and has since then worked and sacrificed a lot for the welfare of the Chakhesang community in particular and for the welfare of the Nagas in general. “In his death the Chakhesang people have lost a wise and intrepid leader, and the vacuum that has been created from his absence will be hard to fill,” said KCH in a release. The KCH on behalf of the Chakhesang people living in and around Kohima conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family members and expressed extreme sorrow at the loss of this great soul. The Hoho prayed that the Lord Almighty provide solace and comfort to the bereaved family members.
