Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), Government of Nagaland, Project Director, Dr Hovithal Sothu said ‘not receiving the required education creates future impediments in one’s life.’ He was addressing the Kezoma Village Students’ Union (KVSU) 54th annual general conference at Kezoma village on December 29.

Sothu said there are many disadvantages and impediments for not receiving required education. The director said students should set goals, both long term and short term and know how to deal with failures which was part of life. And while these goals are set, one should remain flexible because the goals were bound to change.

In today's context, he said it was also important to choose whose advices to take and your whose to avoid while stating that there were many people giving advices both relevant and irrelevant ones.

54 years ago, he also added that with the motto, 'the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,' elders incepted the student union which was a far-sight of the torchbearers.
