Ziekiezou SC today defeated United 16 FC 7-1 at the ongoing 2nd Kohima Football League here at Kohima Local Ground.
Keneinguzei Pienü netted two goals for the winning team Ziekiezou SC while a goal each came through Keviphretuo Kire, Neikethozo Yhome, Vilhoubeituo Yhome, Khriekethozo Keretsü and Kethosilie Zatsu.
A lone goal for United 16 FC came through the boot of Lonkhoi.
Ziekiezou SC earned 3 points with today’s win.
Tomorrow's match (August 25) between Sechü Zubza FC and Twenty XI FC will be the last match for KFL 2018.
The closing ceremony of the 2nd edition of the Kohima Football League will be held on August 25 at Kohima Local Ground at 2: 00 PM.
Pele Khezhie, president, Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union (NCSU) will grace the occasion as the guest of honour.
Taekwondo demonstration and musical performance by 4th NAP JAZZ band, Thizama will be part of the event during the closing ceremony.
