Kohima, January 4 (MExN): The Khulazu Bawe village gate was inaugurated on December 31 last by Meshusayi Tetseo, District Programme Officer (Social Welfare), Mokokchung.
It was inaugurated in the presence of MLA Dr Chotisuh Sazo.
Speaking on the occasion, Tetseo prayed that the newly constructed village gate act as a source of blessings and also bring peace and unity among the villagers.
He called upon the villagers to ensure better understanding, trustworthiness and also build good relationship with the neighboring villages.
He also called upon the people to work in unison for all round development.
The inaugural programme was led by Vekhota Rhakho, chairman gate construction committee while Rev. Dr. Siiliiveyi Rhakho, GlobeServe International coordinator, Minneapolis, America prayed for the programme.
Act of blessing was done by Hiiniiyi Resii, oldest person in the village.
