KLC Evangelical Union celebrates Freshers’ Day

Kohima, February 26 (MExN): The Kohima Law College Evangelical Union celebrated Freshers’ Day on February 26, with its vision statement ‘Transformed students impacting the campuses and the Nation as the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.’

According to a press release from the KLC Media Cell, there are more than 65 freshers (LLB 1st Semester) in the present academic year. The freshers were all presented with a ‘special gift’ to mark the celebration, it added.

During the programme, Asst Professor Kezhokhoto Savi shared about the values and joy that comes with taking active part in the Evangelical Union. Stating that it sharpens a student’s Christian life and leadership, Savi recalled his experiences as an EU member at Patkai Christian College Evangelical Union.

As per the release, few of the freshers also shared their experiences of EU activities and a special prayer for the freshers was pronounced by Asst Professor Moasenla, who is also teacher-in-charge of KLCEU.

Asst Professor Soni Magh spoke about the life of Joseph in the gospel of Genesis and underscored how he remained strong and put his trust to God despite troubles and temptations.
