Kohima, October 2 (MExN): The month-long ‘Basic IT Skills and Office Productivity Training’ for 49 ministerial staff under District Administration, Kohima, concluded at the DC Conference Hall, Kohima on October 1.

The training was conducted in August 2026 under the aegis of the DC Office, Kohima and NIC, Kohima, with the objective of enhancing workplace efficiency through improved IT skills, stated a DIPR report. 

Certificates of Appreciation were presented to District Informatics Officer, Kohima, Rüüvisie Kehie and his team as Master Trainers, while Certificates of Achievement were awarded to the top five performers. Certificates of Completion were presented to trainees who secured 50 percent and above.

In his keynote address, DC Kohima, B Henok Buchem, emphasised the dignity of work, regardless of its nature, and urged the staff to discharge their duties with dedication and commitment.

DIO Kehie stated that the training was designed as a crash course to strengthen IT skills and improve efficiency at the workplace. Representing the trainees,  Rakalung, Accountant, shared feedback and appreciated the quality and intent of the programme.

ADC Kohima, Ruopfükuotuo Noudi, delivered the welcome address. The programme was chaired by Ane Khieya, EAC (Estt), while Sarthak Singh, IAS (P), Assistant Commissioner, Kohima, proposed the vote of thanks.
