
Kohima, September 26 (MExN): The District Education Officer, Kohima conducted the Kohima District Level Students’ Science Seminar– 2022 on the theme, ‘Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development: Challenges & Prospects’ at the DEO Kohima Conference Hall on September 22.
The competition was participated by ten schools vying for the best three coveted positions through presentation on the given topics. The competition efficiently judged by Mhasikholie Sachü from TM GHSS, Bharat Prasad from Don Bosco HSS and Vilakhole Naki from SCERT.
DEO, Kohima Emilo Patton declared the results. Tsupongla Shillen of Ministers’ Hill Baptist HSS came first followed by Jandeno S Jami of Fernwood School in second and Hihile Semp of Don Bosco School, Tseminyu in third. The winners along with all the participants and Teacher Guides were acknowledged with citation and cash.
The first prize winner will represent Kohima district in the State Level Science Fair which will be held on October 7 at Bethesda HSS, Dimapur.
