The handing and taking over ceremony between the new and old team of Midland Panchayat, Kohima took place on April 28.

The new team for the tenure 2021-2026 is headed by Kopelo Krome as chairman, Ngulho Mepfhuo- vice chairman,  Tsau Paphino-  vice chairman,  Toso Thaprü- general secretary,  Thejazelie Tase- joint secretary,  Pudezo- joint secretary, Kekhrieu Solo- treasurer,  Khriezovol- property secretary,  Atou Liezietsu- finance secretary,  Chizokho Vero- information & publicity secretary and  Visa Meru, K Kapfo and Keneilesa Neikha as advisors.

Earlier, outgoing chairman Visa Meru in his speech thanked each and every individual for extending their cooperation to the team during 2016-2020. He also extended best wishes to the new team and hoped that the new team will work for common good of Midland colony.

On behalf of the new team, Kopelo Krome thanked the colony for reposing their faith in them and assured to shoulder the responsibility with zeal and diligence. He also sought everyone’s support to carry forward the task effectively.
