DIMAPUR, AUGUST 12 (MExN): The Office of the Superintendent of Police Kohima has informed that in view of the Independence Day celebration on 15/08/2011, the following traffic regulation will be enforced from 0600 hrs as part of the security arrangement.
1. Only vehicles with car passes namely ‘A’ and ‘B’ will be allowed entry inside the main gate to the Secretariat Plaza.
2. Vehicles with a ‘C’ car pass will park in the parking on either side of the main gate to the Secretariat Complex.
3. No vehicle will be allowed to be parked by the roadside from 0600 hrs. in the following areas.
a. From Classic Island till Telephone Exchange
b. From Raj Bhavan to New Secretariat
Defaulting vehicles will towed and towing charge will be recovered from the defaulters, stated a press note from the SP.
